Find the things that start with the same sound that starts "Velvet Vest". (vacuum, pumpkin, video tape, bath tub, van, violin)

Using yarn, have your child make upper case and lower case "V".

Make play-dough letters! "V" is a particularly fun letter to make. Here's the recipe:

2 cups flour                1 teaspoon oil
1 cup water                3 drops food color 1 cup salt                       

Add the food coloring to the water, andmix  all the ingredients together. The dough can  be stored in the refrigerator for sever days.
